Top slip is a little hamlet in Anamalai hills, where the timber would slip into the small canal, hence it got it's name.
Top slp is a deep forest area situated in this area (Near Pollachi), It is wilfelife sanctury home of evergreen teak forest. Forest check post in a place named Sethumadai(near Pollachi) is the entry point to this sanctury. Drive from Pollachi towards this place, you can feel the change in temperature and soon you can see elepants on the way during early morning or late evening.
