where did all start ...

History of this place, starts off from sangam age. Kongu means "Honey" or "Nectar of flowers". By looking at history "Kongunadu", extends from southern part of mysore to parts in present Kerala, with an elevation of 3000 feet. This land consists various hills all ranging from 1000 ft to 3000 ft. Major rivers are Kaveri, Bhavani, Nooyal and Amaravathi. Coins discovered in and around coimbatore region, clearly indicate that this land was ruled all the 3 tamil kings of Chola, Chera and Pandaya dynasty.
